Southbound....

I'm in danger of becoming a serial blogger! Once a week doesn't seem to be enough to share the moments.
So.....somewhat reluctantly we left our beach house at Dalmeny after having sampled the local goodies...homemade icecream at Mogo and yes, more cheese, at the very quaint Tilba village.
Stopping off here and there I finally get my first taste of blackberries growing wild on the cliffs. Delicious!
Keeping to the coastal route we went through great forests of spotted gum and stopped at Bermegui, Merrimbula and Tathra, where we wandered down to the historic wharf. It was beautiful but I felt a strangeness there, and was reminded only today that it was where 2 little boys and there father tragically perished after falling into rough seas.
We decided to call it a day at Eden and settled into a top spot for a couple of nights camping.
