On to Bright

Steve had been hoping to show me some of the places he holidayed at when he was a child. A few have now been burnt out, but Bright was on the list and was untouched by fire.
After nipping into Brown Brothers winery for the usual taste test, we made our way into beautiful Bright with all intentions of camping. It was the start of the Victorian labour day weekend and clearly this place was going to get busy so we opted for 4 nights in a cottage complete with gorgeous rose garden.
After a walk to check out our surroundings I fell in love with this tiny town with a smell of pine trees that permeates the air. It reminded me of Xmas at my Mothers house when she would decorate the house with fresh pine branches...mmmmmm
